Setup Onn Remote to control TV

📺 Guide: Setting Up onn. Google TV Remote to Control Your TV
1. Open Remote Settings

1. On your onn. Google TV home screen, go to the top-right profile icon.

2. Select Settings ⚙️.

3. Scroll down and choose Remotes & Accessories.

4. Select Set up remote buttons (or Set up remote on some models).

2. Choose What to Control

1. Pick TV from the list.

2. Select Set up remote buttons → TV.

3. You’ll see options for Power, Volume, and Input.

3. Select TV Brand

1. Choose your TV brand from the list.

   • If you don’t see it right away, scroll down or use Other.

2. The system will walk you through a test.

4. Test the Remote

• For Power: It will ask you to press the Power button on the onn remote to see if your TV turns off/on.

• For Volume: It will ask you to try Volume Up/Down.

• For Input: It will ask you to press the Input button to cycle inputs.

👉 If it works → select Yes.
👉 If not → choose No and try the next available code until it works.

5. Finish Setup

• Once Power, Volume, and Input are working, select Done.

• Your onn. Google TV remote should now control your TV directly (no need for the TV’s original remote).

✅ Tips:

• If it doesn’t work, repeat setup and try a different code under your TV brand.

• Make sure your remote is pointed at the TV (uses IR for TV control).

• Some soundbars and receivers can also be added under Audio Device in the same settings menu.
