How to use Proton VPN

Using Proton free VPN is very easy and straightforward. Please refer to the steps below for instructions.

Step 1: Find Proton VPN in "Your apps" and click on it to open the app.

Step 2: Selecting a free server connection from the main page of Proton VPN, you have 4 country options that are the USA, Poland, Netherlands, and Japan. Click on either one of those flags that are one of the free countries listed above.

Step 3: After selecting the country flag you want to connect to, then you will see the screen show below and click your ok/select button on your remote on the "Server list" drop-down button as shown in the image below.

Step 4: Try selecting a server that is either Green or Yellow status as the Red status servers are at peak capacity. As shown in the image below. Click ok/select on the server you want to connect to. 

Step 5: First time you connect the proton you will get the following pop up that you will have to click on the ok button to authorize it. 

Step 6: You are now connected as it should like the image below and if you want to disconnect you can click on the disconnect tab like it shows below. You should connect and disconnect daily to refresh your connection to the vpn server.
